Suggest you download the Audio drivers, AND install them.

Hover your mouse cursor on Download.
(Overview / Specification / Download / Support / etc)

In the drop down list click on - Driver

Chose your Operating System (OS: box, and blue Down Arrow)
I chose Windows XP 32-bit as an example. (XP 32)

VIA SMART5.1CH Sound Drivers
To the right of the subheading - Download, click on the blue -
VIA VT1617 Sound MB.zip

Click on the blue - Download 1

A small window will come up on the right -
Opening VIA_VT1617_Sound_MB.zip

Make sure the small circle to the left of Save File, has a Green dot in it.
If not, left-click in the empty circle to the left of Save File.
Now go below in the window, and click on OK.

A small download window will come up on the left.
Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.
In the next small window go to the top left, and click on -
Extract all files.

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish.
If you are not asked to restart your computer, close all windows, go back to your desktop screen.
Restart your computer.

Printer disappeared from control panel cant find disc to reinstall

Don't you just love Windblows?

Lost the address to the driver files on the harddrive.

You don't need the 'disk'.
Just download AND install the drivers, from Kodak Support,

http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/list/c/890/selected/true#s=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.

See image for the location on your model. Simply take the jumper (it is the plastic piece on two metal prongs. I received a mickey mouse glove wireless mouse for the holidays. When I plugged the piece into the computer the mouse wouldn't work. Is there anything that I need to do to get started that I am not doing...

Hello,
If there was a cd with the mouse, make sure you have inserted it and followed the installation steps.

The operating system compatibility for the product is Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/VISTA, Mac OS10.3 If you use a different one, it might be the reason why the mouse is not working.
If the red optical light is lit under the mouse and the USB transmitter is properly inserted, try pushing the button on the transmitter. If no change, try clicking the mouse buttons.
You can also try a different USB port.
If there is no red light, the batteries inside the mouse are either not inserted properly or dead.

If you have your computer Recovery disk, place the disk in the drive and restart the computer. It sounds like your OS is corrupted and needs to be reloaded.

When the windows xp screen is finished loading, computer restarts

You should try loading into 'safe mode' o see if that works. If that works then the problem is in the OS and probably a load file during startup. either a driver or setting that is conflicting. Either way something is wrong with the configuration. Yo may have a virus which is conflicting with one of the legit programs in memory.

If you're reasonably advanced user you can try and download HIRENS Boot Disc and boot into Linux and run a complete Virus scan from there. It will remove any virus's and you can use CC Cleaner to correct registry problems completely outside the OS.

If you don't know how to do any of that then I suggest taking it to a PC shop as well. If the data is important then they will be able to retrieve it and start again.

Hello, find the BIOS Beep Codes at http://www.amptron.com/html/bios.beepcodes.html and try to find your problem. It is not a software or Monitor problem. It could be RAM or Video Card failure
