Till yesterday I was using my Kingston DTI / 4 GB Pendrive properly. Today it is not detecting in any pc's. i have checked with different systems also, not detecting. i have checked with USB drivers also....

After plugging in the device. Go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system. Try connecting the device again, i think this should solve the problem.
Otherwise go to this site,,,http://en.kioskea.net/download/
and download HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and you connect ur pen drive and open the software HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and click start and select ntfs,,,
and now there is no problem for your pen drive

Pen drive is not detecting

Hi,
1. Connect your pen drive to some other USB ports present at the rear side of your desktop pc.
2. In case of laptop, try connecting to some other available usb ports and check
3. In still not detected, then test your pen drive in some other systems.
4. If still not working, then it implies that your pen drive got detects.
5. If your pen drive is original kingston then you can claim the warranty from the place where you got it.

I hope this information is helpful for you
Thanks

update your computer's USB driver with version 2.0. Make sure you installed your motherboard's USB support drive dont just rely on the USB driver provided by microsoft.

My Kingston USB 2GB can't work in my desktop pc .

There are two most common causes of Pen Drive not working
1) The usb port You are connecting it has not enough power output to operate the pendrive (many older computers and laptops have this issue) solution buy an powered USB HUB one with a power adapter You put in a wall socket and then connect Your Pen Drive thruu this hub
2) Operating system lacks drivers for Your particular Pen (windows up to Millenium lack proper usb support and newer I mean XP Vista? (Not sure bout this last one) need administrative privileges to recognise some Pen Drive for the first time or even a driver diskette (some very rare cases).

I have bought a 2GB USB flash drive made by kingston. But iam getting a problem when iam going to use it. The problem is it is not recognising to my PC Doesn't recognize to pc

1. does the LED light come on?
2. Try the drive on another PC (friends)
if both of the above does not work, you might be having a defective Pen drive, if you have warranty , suggest you take it to the shop you bought it from.

Hi,
Windows XP has Drivers within the operating system to Install and setup USB Ports.
Here Are your options to Provide A Fix.
1: )The USB Port May Be Disconnected From The motherboard.
2:) The Device you are trying to Connect ( Pen-Drive ) May be faulty And Not Recognised By The Computer.

3:) The USB Cable Or Socket May Be Faulty.

Solution:- Try Connecting the Device To An Alternative ( different ) USB Socket On The PC.

Solution:- Try Connecting a Different Device to the USB Port. i.e MP3 player Or Digital Camera et,c.

Solution:- Check that the USB Header Cables ( from Motherboard To USB Ports ) Are connected Or incorrectly Connected.
