Question about U-Line Icemaker
I have a CLR 2060. I would like to to know what freon.
R134 IS THE CORRECT REFRIGERANT IN U-LINES ICEMAKERS

The freon in most ice makers are R 410a at this time. You will be able to find the type of freon your model has listed most times on a data plate on the rear of the ice maker cabinet and on or near the compressor. R 134a is not always used in production ice machines because it does not freeze water as productive as
R 410a. The type oil in the compressor also will lead you more in the direction of the type of gas. Now If you need to replace the freon or compressor I can help you determine the exact type of freon gas was existing before the change, Let me know if this has answered your question. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Tips for a great answer:
As far as I know you only have to change the compressor and dryer-filter to comply with 134a. Other components from old Freon 12 are safe to use for 134a. There's an Urban (mechanics) legend that you can use a 134a to an r12 system, but you can't use an r12 to a newer 134a system. But be on the safe side, change the compressor and dryer to use 134a or ask an expert on refrigeration.
