Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop
Yesterday when I tried to print an "x" read, the machine instead went into "xz" mode and printed out a Batch 01 that has the accumulated totals of the last few years.
The machine then locked in this mode and would only print this report. Once it was left for 30-45mins, it reverted back to normal operations and could be used again for transactions.
I then tried to do an "x" read today and it has done the same thing.
I have the manual and as far as i can see, there is no mention of an "xy" mode at all.
The machine is the older type and I have been using it for nearly 4yrs and have never seen this problem before.
Check your report. if you see top of the receipt will print x. z.or z2
if you see z2. it.s nothing wrong. you just made periodic report. le

It sounds like you accidentally turned the key to Z2 mode. This is the periodic totaliser, so you have reset it by mistake. The rest of your description makes no sense. I'd say you probably have main board failure in the machine.
