Nokia 6133 will not power up

1. Power on the Nokia 6133. Turn the Nokia 6133 on and allow it to load the home screen.
2. Navigate to options. Press the "Menu" key on the Nokia 6133. Select "Options" and press "OK".
3. Select the memory card folder. Highlight the memory card folder. Press "OK".
4. Select options. Select "Options". Highlight "Format memory card".
5. Confirm the format. When prompted, select "Yes". Wait patiently while the Nokia 6133 formats the memory card.
6. Enter a name. When the Nokia 6133 is finished formatting the memory card it will ask you for a name. Enter a name into the Nokia 6133 for the memory card. The Nokia 6133 allows the name to be up to eleven characters and numbers.

Try taking the battery out and plugging it in to see if it powers up for an extended period of time. If it does, the battery needs to be replaced. If it still powers down there is an internal problem with the phone, you could take it in for repair if you have warranty service on it. The repair is likely to cost more than getting a new phone. Most carriers will offer you a discount if you have had your phone for at least 2 years.

you may need a new battery, if so do as it says. contact the service.

I have the same problem two weeks ago. I opened my phone and kept it under the table lamp to dry off some moisture and my screen came back and working good.

Also tried to reset it by taking out Sim card press *3 send button together when turn on the phone ,it will take a while ,but it will reset the phone and will ask for the sim card info.

It fixed my problem ,so hope no harm to try that.

i had the same issue when my phone got slightly wet. try taking everything apart (sim card, battery, back). let them dry out for a little bit then after like a day or two put the phone back together. turn it on it will be a white screen for a little bit but give it like 2 or 3 mins and if should come back. I did this for my phone cuz i really needed the pictures off it and it worked! hopefully if will work for you too. GOOD LUCK!

why not have the phone's LCD replaced.

try to free up some space. delete some of your files in your phone.

I believe that is the bottom right square on the top field. The red one one that has a small dot next to it. Make sure the battery is charged. If in doubt, turn it on while connected to the charger.
