What make & model of bluetooth device are you connecting to and from your laptop? IE: MAC or Windows supplied. If you purchased new it should have come supplied with a CD containg Interface software and setup manual, if you are without this CD you can usually download the CD info from the manufacturers website.

I take it that it shows up in the Device Manager?

If so, does the Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel) have the bluetooth control? Try entering 'bthprops.cpl'.

Or are you looking for Drivers for an external dongle? In which case, can we know which manufacturer the Dongle is by?

If I got it correctly you have a built in wireless bluetooth adapter but you did not get the software and possibly the driver either when you bought the laptop. If it is a a built-in bluetooth adapter then you need to look for your laptop manufacturer's site and find you laptop in the downloads section and you can download their own software and driver from the Vista section.

If you are using an outside dongle then almost for sure you'll be able to use BlueSoleil, though if you could not get the dongle recognized then you still need to find drivers to it. You can most likely download the Vista driver from the manufacturer's site.

If you name the manufacturer /of the laptop or the dongle/ I'll help find the driver or software for you.

Should there be an attachment for the usb port for my wireless ambo4us mouse to work? If not how do I get it to work with my laptop?

The AMBO4US is a Bluetooth mouse. Many laptops have bluetooth capability built in. If you're does not, you need to purchase an inexpensive USB Bluetooth adapter. These can be picked up at any local electronics retailers such as Best Buy or Fry's. You can also order one online at or other similar sites.

If you're laptop has BT support onboard, then you simply need to "pair" the mouse with it. In the task tray (area near the clock in Windows" there should be a symbol that looks similar to an hourglass. Right-click on this symbol to bring up a menu. While this menu may vary, you're looking form something along the lines of "connect device", "search devices", "pair devices", etc. Once you've found it, a wizard should guide you throught eh steps needed to pair the mouse to your laptop.

I went to my laptop conncted with my mobile phone by bluetooth.problem show bluetooth peripheal device driver not avilable.

possible drivers for your bluetooth is corrupted or missing, try downloading drivers from your Original equipment manufacturer "OEM" this should make BT work again unless you get an error after installing that drivers could not find device or device not found meaning that BT on your system is busted

Bt driver software failure

The first thing that I would advise you to do is,

Uninstall the Bluetooth Adapter totally from the System first,

Then go to "scan for hardware changes",

This will bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Bluetooth Adapter).

After this, Press your Bluetooth button on the system and ensure that it is On, then try to connect.

It should work like that.

(In case you dont know how to uninstall the Adapter, Right-Click on my computer Icon, Properties, Device Manager, then select the Adapter under network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall.)

Kindly Keep me posted about the problem.

Hope this helps.
