Question about Iomega Silver USB 2.0 Hard Drive
This is what I get when I try to run the Mac Disk utility:
Verify and Repair disk "Iomega HDD"
fsck_msdos(361) malloc: *** vm_allocate(size=1069056) failed (error code=3)
fsck_msdos(361) malloc: *** error: can't allocate region
fsck_msdos(361) malloc: *** set a breakpoint in szone_error to debug
** Phase 1 - Read FAT
** Phase 2 - Check Cluster Chains
** Phase 3 - Checking Directories
No space for directory (Cannot allocate memory)
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit
1 non HFS volume checked
1 volume could not be repaired because of an error
You can use a software called g parted , you have to make a dos bootable , and then mount volumes to make the drive ready.
gparted will help you... try the trial version .if you dont susceed let me know.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
