Question about Albatron Nforce2 (KX18D PRO II) Motherboard
I have a pair of Kingston DDR333(256mb each) ram newly bought, when comes to installation it failed to boot up. Checking on another slots, also the same thing happen. It just stuck on the BIOS windows. But then, when I try to use one RAM stick the things just work fine. Run a test on the other RAM stick also. Right now I managed to use only one memory stick..Need help....
Maybe you must reset the bios in the motherboard. try to open your system then look for a 3 pin in the motherboard near in the CMOS battery.. it has a number 1,2 and 3 it is called jumper settings.... try to put the pin in number 2 and 3 then w8 after 10 seconds then gput it back to 1 and 2 in try to boot up.. ^^ i wish this could be help.. ^^

Tips for a great answer:
For dual-channel memory configuration (2), you may:
• install identical DIMMs in all four sockets OR
• install an identical DIMM pair in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 (yellow
sockets) and another identical DIMM pair in DIMM_A2 and
DIMM_B2 (black sockets)
* Always use identical DDR2 DIMM pairs for dual-channel model. For
optimum compatibility, we recommend that you obtain memory modules
from the same vendor.
