Re: How to format nokia ngage QD
To format Cellular Phone Steps are shown below
You can remove the mmc but keep the sim card and restart your phone.
Then press the keys *#7370#.
The phone would ask a confirmation.
Then it will ask for a code.
Type the phone lock code (the default code is 12345).
There you are! your phone will restart with all the phone memory formatted.
Also remember that you can reset your phone but not loose any of
your personal files (I.E restore the settings that came when you bought
the phone while keeping contacts etc) by following the above procedure
but using the code *#7780#
Don't apply these steps if you are not sure what you are doing.
Make sure you have enough battery power before beginning this procedure.
Formatting will erase all your contacts/messages, so make a backup of your phone before formatting.

How to format your ngage phone? - Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc) - Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten. In both case, the phone will ask you a confirmation and you will have to enter a security code (12345 by default). Files and applications stored on E: drive are not be affected by these sequences.
