Question about Fujitsu LifeBook N6100 Notebook

2 Answers

Five vertical lines have appeared (one at a time over a 8 week

Period) on the screen of my Fujitsu Lifebook laptop Model N6100 Notebook computer. Three of the lines are yellow, one is purple, and one is green. They are very thin and pose no real serious problem but I am concerned they may keep forming. They are becomming distracting. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Five vertical lines on the creen cause LCD panel problem, you may try:
1) check the cable between motherboard and LCD panel drive board(back of the panel), need to open the LCD lid.
2) cean the cable plugs and socket at two sides of the cable.
still not fixed there is the hardware damage your panel or your motherboard.
you can keep using if the lines do not affect you job. because the repair cost higher

It sounds like the flex ribbon cable has become loose from the connector on the motherboard. You might just try pressing firmly on the middle top of the keyboard or near where the hinge is located to see if the lines go away. If they don't then you might have to disassemble the Lifebook just enough to get access to this cable and see if it is loose.

I have three thin vertical lines on my Fujitsu Lifebook laptop screen. What causes this?

Usually it's a bad connection between the LCD panel and the column driver chip for those lines. It is often caused by mechanical stress (we all have war stories about laptop misadventures). Sometimes it can be repaired by gently massaging the edge of the panel (you have to take apart the display far enough to do this, and you need to know what you are looking at so you don't take apart too much). This is tricky; you can easily cause other lines to drop out.

If necessary, you can have the panel professionally repaired. There are companies that specialize in this work - they can replace driver chips if that is required.

Display problem in Fujitsu LifeBook C Series(c-6631

the internal bulbs of ur monitor screen have deteriorated...the manufacturers are real smart, these monitors dont last forever. So if repair estimate is too expensive then replace the whole unit.

Always purchase laptop or notebooks NEW or never more than 5 years old.
