Question about Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System Flight Simulator
Everything works fine except that the throttle, prop and mixture lever dont' allow progressive increment, they go from idle to 100% in just one notch making impossible to adjust speed, RPM or mixture as desired. Any thoughts??
I had a similiar problem and after spending hours researching and looking at forums I figured out the a solution. Plug in the quadrant directly into your computer and then configure it. At that time make your necessary tweaks, i.e. null zones and sensitivity adjustments. After you get it to work properly there, then you should plug it into your yoke and everything should work fine.

SOURCE: Saitek yoke's accuracy prroblem.
Try uninstall and reinstall software,
if that doesn't solve then try on different pc
still not working repair/replace unit.
Try Microsoft unit with force feedback or you can buy without FFB for less than £10

exit present flight to general menue, minimize so you can access the "start" button then go to programms/saitek and select "lauch the Flight Sim 2004 plugin". All will work well.....exect the trim wheel acts in reverse!!

To get the quadrants to operate four throttles, you need to assign AXIS not buttons, then you will be able to set them up.

Remove the X52 and drivers from your system. You have to install them in a certain order, so look in the documentation for the correct way to install and you will be okay. Good luck

This sounds like a deadzone setting not allowing the throttle axis to go full.
There are 2 places in which the deadzones can be set:
In FSX: Settings> Controls> Calibration, there select your Yoke and then set the NULL to the left, which is 0.
Or in windows in Input Devices (Win Xp - is in Control Panel, Vista or Win7 go to Games Explorer>Tools>Input Devices).
In Input Devices->Select the Yoke and click Properties, then go to the Deadzones Tab and set the deadzones for the Throttle. Mixture and Prop to 0.
Hope it helps...
