Question about Maytag MDE2706 Electric Dryer
We have a maytag mde2706 electric dryer. we recently had water in the basement, but not enough to damage dryer (at least we didn't think so- maybe an inch of water) we unplugged dryer until water evaporated. we plugged it back in and now it wont' turn on, the timer button won't push in.
Hopefully, the moisture in the air didn't affect the timer. You may want to put some WD 40 on it. I would check all the wiring first. I assume you reset the breakers, checked the receptacle, especially if it is near the floor. Look under the top and near the drum and check the thermal overload.
