Question about Compaq Presario M2000 Notebook
So when I boot up my Presario M2000, It beeps twice and then flashes something very quickly (cant see what it says). Then the screen goes black with the words: Press
The Keyboard does light up when you boot the laptop up. No matter what i press nothing happens.
The 2 beeps are an error code. It can mean a couple of things; 1. Bad or improperly seated RAM; or 2. Bad or improperly seated video card. The F2 option will take you into bios setup. But I would try the video card option first as it is the usual culprit in this situation. Hope this helps & please rate this solution fixya. Thanks.
