Maytag plus MSD2756GEQ ice maker not working

I live in Australia and bought a Maytag GS2327 two door with ice maker and it has been a huge disappointment to say the least. Had the serviceman down here several times during the warranty period to fix it but mainly to check the ice maker. He would look at it, do something that would take a few minutes and then leave only to be called back a on numerous occassions. The last time it happened was a few days outside of the warranty period and I called Maytag Australia, emailed them several times and heard nothing back. Hence, the ice maker has not worked now for at least 12 months and does the same as before...the arm is down but just does not produce any ice however, the rest of the refrigerator is fine.
