Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer
How do you load the paper? I think its in there correctly but if I try to feed paper it sounds like it is trying but the paper never moves.
If the paper is loaded correctly--that is, placed in the paper holder and the side guides are tight against the paper, then the printer may need cleaning or it is defective. Check that there is not too much paper in the tray.
Many time the little rubber rollers that grab the paper become glazed and will not pick the paper up. Also, the feed mechanism may have just worn out.
If this is an older printer, it might need to be replaced if you can't find a shop to clean it for you.
