Wiring diagram for a fellows sb95c

I need a wiring diagram for a fellows sb95c. apart from it being wired reverse polarity, presumably from the factory, it appears that all the 4 cables going to the motor are live, which would indicate to me that there is a broken neutral (return wire) somewhere in the printed circuit board. there is also a single pole relay that does not pull in, but i think that could be related.

any ideas?

SOURCE: Fellowes PS60C-2 shredder doesn't shred

there are two switches under the cutter area. 1 for sensing when your basket is full, (sometimes these bin-full flaps get stuck in the up position, energizing the switch) and the other is a switch that detects if your basket is installed. fellowes has modified these shredders so many times, that there are alot of different configurations. look for something that resembles a flap under the head and make sure its in the down position. as for the basket sensor, some baskets had 2 projections on the left and right top of basket. one may be broke. if so, you can "cheat" the switch with a screwdriver to see if thats the problem.

I am having problems with the passenger side front window, seems the reverse polarity issue

Depends on your car.. power comes from the master switch. Ground is threw the BCM. I f you have a power problem, it is in the boot at the door( wire broken) or the master switch. The reverse polarity is from switches. Master or the passenger side.

F28 error code on Maytag front loading washer

The communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) has failed.

Possible Causes

- Reversed polarity or mis-wire along with open ground switch(es).

- Communication cable from CCU (MI3) to MCU is damaged.

Procedure for reversed polarity or mis-wire

1. Clear error code.

2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

3. Check the white wire on the RFI filter to ensure correct polarity.White wire needs to be toward front of washer.

4. Check outlet for correct polarity. To check within washer for polarity at the RFI, white to cabinet ground must be 0 volts.

5. Check that the ground switches of the toe panel and rear panel are correctly closed.

If switches are good ,replace the CCU.

as cars run DC power the polarity doesn't matter in a solenoid unit such as door lock if it has 2 wires ( power wire and earth wire ) Just reverse the wiring and it should work

Need the sb-95c plastic spur gear for the Fellowes Powershred. Where Can I get one?

Go to support on the Fellowes website. Enter your model number and you should be able to locate a parts finder. The shredders are rather inexpensive and the repair parts may not be available.

This website shows it has manuals and online diagrams like that. Sometimes a dealer parts guy will run you a copy of a parts diagram. It is a 13 year old vehicle- a salvage yard may have something torn apart that you could see.

Receptacles wired backwards

"Reverse polarity" is the term used to describe the condition where electrical wires are connected to the wrong terminals of a receptacle; it's a common condition that can be hazardous if the "hot" side of your electrical system gets connected to certain types of lamps or equipment. It's common because it's an easy mistake to make when hooking up wires and because receptacles work fine even when the polarity is reversed. You generally don't know the condition exists unless you look for it. If you think you're home's wiring is a bit haphazard or may contain some conditions of reverse polarity, it's a good idea to check for it. You can buy a simple circuit tester for less than $20. Just plug it into all duplex receptacles; test both the top and bottom. If you discover reverse polarity: 1) Shut off the circuit breaker that serves that receptacle (the tester's lights will go out). 2) Unscrew the cover plate from the receptacle, and use a voltage tester to be sure none of the wires in the electrical box are still "hot." 3) Unscrew or release the wires from the receptacle and re-fasten them to the proper terminals--white to the silver (neutral terminal and black to the brass hot terminal. The bare or green wire should connect to the green screw. 4) Put the cover plate back on, turn the circuit back on, and test the receptacle again. Note: If the tester indicates reverse polarity but the wires are hooked up to the proper terminals, call an electrician.
