        Xbox or Xbox 360?

Are you using a wireless adapter or ethernet cord to connect to router?

I want to connect my Xbox 1 to the Internet so it can work but don't know how!? My only source of Internet is my sprint router net gear air card! Does anyone know how to connect an Xbox 1 to a sprint...

Yes, it should be easy to connect your Xbox One to the internet.

Assuming your Netgear router is wi-fi capable, go to Network settings on the Xbox One. This will display Network status - wireless settings - etc. Follow the setup procedure here:

I have a Cayman 3347w wireless router and I am trying to use one of the wired slots to connect my xbox 360 to the internet. the xbox will not connect. is this router xbox compatable?

Please try the following steps below;

To make a router connection to Xbox LIVE:
  1. Before you connect any cables, turn off your router, modem, PC, and Xbox 360 console. (Unplug your modem from its power source to turn it off.)
  2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your modem and the other end to the Ethernet input port on the back of your router.
  3. With another Ethernet cable, connect one end to one of the router's Ethernet output ports. Connect the other end to your PC's Ethernet port.
  4. With the third Ethernet cable, connect one end to another of the router's Ethernet output ports. Connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of the Xbox 360 console.
  5. Turn on your modem, then your router, then your PC.
  6. Make sure your PC can access the Internet. If not, you may need to configure the router for Internet access. For help configuring the router using your PC, check the instructions that came with the router.
  7. Turn on your Xbox 360 console and sign in with your profile.
  8. If this is the first time you've turned on your Xbox 360 console, see Create Your Gamer Profile to get started with both the Xbox 360 system and Xbox LIVE play.
If you're unable to connect to Xbox LIVE, you can try to diagnose the problem right on your console. Go to My Xbox and open System Settings, then select Network Settings (setup XBOX using Automatic Configuration DHCP), Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Hope this helps!

Cant find the wep key for net gear wgr614 v7 wireless router to connect my xbox 360 wirelessley

You need to log into the router setting using a pc.On the pc go to a browser like internet explorer and type the router address which is something like 192.x.x.x which you can obtain from its manual or sometimes is printed underneath the router...Now once you logged in then go to the wireless security tab and find your key or you can make a new wep key.Hope this helps.

You can contact NETGEAR support to help you open the NAT settings. ( they know how to do it )

Note:
The simplest way and most efficient way to connect to xbox live is using DIRECT MODEM CONNECTION

Media access crontrol (MAC) address

Hi Stevetabor9,

Finding and Registering Your Xbox Console's MAC Address
  1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
  2. From the Xbox Dashboard, choose Settings, and then Network Settings.
  3. The 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of theNetwork Settings screen is the MAC address of your Xbox console. Do not change your Xbox console MAC address; just write it down so that you can use it later.
  4. If you have a direct connection from your Xbox to your modem, you'll have to disconnect it and reconnect your PC to access the Internet.
  5. From your PC, open the following page:
    British Columbia: http://oca.bc.hsia.telus.net
    Alberta: http://oca.ab.hsia.telus.net.
  6. Log in using your Telus Velocity Internet Service account.
  7. Select Manual Registration and Administration of PC's and Devices.

  9. Follow the steps in Direct Connection with Telus to try to connect to Xbox Live again.
Registering Your Router MAC Address
  1. See your router documentation to find your router MAC address.
  2. Before disconnecting your PC from the Internet to set up a router connection, open the following page:
    British Columbia: http://oca.bc.hsia.telus.net
    Alberta: http://oca.ab.hsia.telus.net.
