Window 7 build 7601 this copy of window is not may be victim of software can fix this?

I had a problem like that when I installed a purchased copy of Vista on another machine because I had upgraded to windows 7 on my computer. When you got that message it told you how to contact Microsoft either by phone or over the internet. Just follow the prompts to get a new serial number from Microsoft. If its a genuine copy they will give you a new serial number that works.

I hope this helps you out, if it does please give me a YES on the web page you received my response on.

You may be victim of software counterfeiting

Always check the authenticity label on any software when purchasing as claiming that it doesn't work or will not register when it has been opened, will not helps.

A victim of software counterfeiting

If you bought the computer from a computer-store, with Windows pre-installed, then contact Microsoft (1-800-R-U-LEGIT) and report the store for installing a "non-genuine" version of Windows onto your computer.

Otherwise, follow the on-screen instructions to "Get Genuine".
Have your credit-card ready, because you will need to purchase a valid license, and you will get a 25-character product-key that you can input into Windows.

My desk top become black when i open itbut still i can use itit says there ypour a victim of counterfeiting so on and so on what will i do?

Your operating system has done an automatic Windows update and the new update improves on the anti-piracy credentials that inspect systems for counterfeiting. It has read your system as having a pirated version of its software....what likely has happened is you have a copy of windows that had a Volumn License that has now been blocked. You either have to buy a copy of the windows you are using in order to get a proper product key, or and this is just for information.....there are small programs that will bypass this windows validation stuff and reactivate the system. That will have to be "Googled" because it is illegal and won't be discussed in an open forum.

Go Here:
and download their anti-malware (free will do). Install, update to latest defs and run a full scan. Hopefully this would remove the trojans, if not comeback and we;ll lookup another solution

Counter feiting

There is no temporary solution to this. Either buy Windows or format the partition (No Quick format) where windows is installed and reinstall windows.
