Your OS is corrupted then if you cant get into safe mode. Your going to need to wipe out the hard drive and get your computer back to factory defaults. If you need help with that I'll be more then willing to help you.

Windows is set to restart on system failure by default, and the blue screen you see is known as BSOD (Blue screen of death), and it appears when any of numerous problems occur. Therefore if you're seeing the BSOD, you probably won't be able to boot to safe mode to try and recover either, but worth a try (tap the F8 key on boot and you'll get the "Safe Mode" boot option).
So, I would recommend booting to a Windows installation disk (you may have to edit BIOS settings to get your PC to boot to CD/DVD) and format the partition that your OS currently resides on and doing a clean installation of Windows. This is an almost sure fix, but not the only one. If you have data on your hard drive that you can't afford to lose then you could try a "Repair install", this can be attempted by pressing the "R" key when prompted by the installation to attempt a repair install.
If you don't have a OS installation disk, there is probably a recovery partition on the hard drive that you can restore your PC to it's original configuration. Let us know?

Nope nothing, not even safe mode
Dear benwabnick.
That would be great if you gave me instructions!
Thanks
Thanks guys, I fixed it.. got it up 'n' running
I don't exactly what I did but it seemed to work... I removed the hard drive and put it in a box and used it with my other computer and uninstalled the newest programs and then I put it back, it ran a disk check and voila it works
I am having problems with keeping my comuter on as well and I think I am having the same problem. When I turn it on it seems to boot correctly, but after selecting my user name from the first screen it shuts off after 5-10 seconds. When I am in safe mode it stays on. I did a system restore (wiping everything) but it did not fix the problem. Also, my "O" key doesnt work unless I press very hard. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much
Sue
