Lexmark T614 horizontal lines on right the left margins

On my Lexpark Optra T614 printer, I get horizontal line on right and left margins. The first 2 lines are about 5/8 inch apart, then about 1 3/8 inch 2 more lines are seen (again 5/8 inch apart).

Is there a user replaceable part the would be causing this? Thanks.

I replaced the cartridge with a re-manufactured cartridge and the lines are worse (thicker). With this re-manufactured cartridge, there is toner marks visible on cartridge transfer roller. Does this still indicate the positive charge roller your opinion. Steer me towards your web portal so I can look into getting replacement. Thanks.

What is the part number for the postive charge roller?

The original cartridge was OEM. Thanks for the suggestions.

Remove the fuser cover located in the top cover right below where the paper comes out to the output bin. with a flashlight inspect the fusers hotroll. a worn fuser can cause these lines that you have discribed.

This sounds like a cartridge problem if you have changed the cartridge and the problem persists I would say it is the positive charge roller inside the printer. If you open the cartridge door and remove the cartridge with the cartridge out starting closing the door and you will see this roller moving down from the top inside of the printer. do not touch this without a glove or lint free cloth. not hard job to change if you can get one in your area if not we have them available.

    Charge Roller 99A1017
    Transfer Roller 56P1357
these are the numbers but changing the cartridge should not made a difference in the defects
I am still Leary on your quality of your re-mans these can be a difficult cartridge to built with good consistency.
I have been building Lexmark cartridges for 15 years and if you do not change all the components there can be problems with them.

I have a Lexmark Optra T614 and when I print mostly black pages such as large dark graphics, I get streaky vertical lines at 3" and 5" from the left side of the portrait oriented page, and a lighter...

You need to either call a repair tech and have the printer serviced for routine maintenance or order a maintenance kit from Lexmark to do the job yourself.

Just curious, what is the page count on the printer? When was the last time the entire print cartridge was replaced?

Constant paper jams in lexmark t614

it would help to have a bit more information on where the paper jams. but ill give this a shot any way. 241 jams clean or replace the pick wheels on the auto compensator. 201 jams no paper present change main motor drive. paper stops 3 inches through the fuser timming issue check the paper size i the paper menu check the fingers on the side of the tray letter is the 2 bottom fingers sticking out. if you have network port print the network page if it is smaller than the page change paper selction pcb located behind the logic pack. if the the line at the bottom of the read out is missing and the box is incomplete the printer is reporting leagal size paper change the paper size pcb. 202 errors check the sensor flags on the fuser. there are 2 sensors on the fuser the one on the left is the narrow media sensor the one on the right is the exit sensor. check to make sure the sensor flag is not broken. check them for fluid movement if you cant hear them snap back replace the sensors hope this helps you out

Invalid engine code

The easiest way to solve this is to work through Lexmark Technical Support.

Their web site may have the correct engine code on their site, but installation of the code can be tricky.

Are you getting a 900 Invalid Engine code message?

try changing feed rollers in tray. To test or temporary fix remove the rubber tires and flip them inside out, then reinstall.

Lines across page

My metric to standard conversions skills are poor. But if 10 cm is equivalent to about 2 inches it sounds like the drum on the cartridge has gone bad from inactivity. Change the cartridge.
