Question about Toshiba Equium 7100S PC Desktop

Toshiba Equium Laptop keyboard not operating correctly

Toshiba Equium Laptop
Is there a problem with this model??
Some keys not working when I received the laptop. Keyboard immediately replaced by supplier (PC World UK)
Replacement seemed to be ok and immediately took it abroad for the winter, then I found that say 2 keys will not type without some pressure, these will then rectify without any modification, and then one or two different keys will become faulty.

There has been a lot of talk around this computer lately about the same problem you are having. It has something to do with the plug that plugs into the mother board it self.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Have you tried connecting a regular desktop keyboard to your laptop? If so, does the same thing happen?

Keyboards do develop problems, and can usually be fixed by replacing the keyboard. It's not necessarily a virus (actually highly unlikely).

The first thing I would try is buy a can of compressed air and give your keyboard a good cleaning. There may be stuff under the keys that are letting them work. Was there any liquid spilled on the keyboard?
