Problem for HP PSC 1610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Not printing in foxpro 2.6 dos to hp laser jet 1020

I have Foxpro 2.6 Dos application . I try to print the report in laser printer HP LASER JET 1020 and no print comeout. It is printing in lpt1 printer dot matrix,. What is the solution? Please help

dos based applications like fpd26 doesnt detect an usb printer one way of directing output to USB is by using NET USE at command line
share your USB printer and give its name at printer share name
Ex. NET USE LPT1 \\<computer name>\<printer share name> /persistent:Yes
type the above line at command prompt
Open the printer properties, select ADVANCE tab select PRINT PROCESSOR select TEXT, apply the changes
at the command prompt type DIR >PRN this must give you print from USB printer, then try printing from your application
