Hi, ive got a hp deskjet 3550 and its started printing in pink only, it started to act like it needed new print cartidges but ive changed them both and since i did that it just started printing in however it will very randomley print 1 page normally!!! Problem 2 while im on is it will print normally and then get to a page, print a bit and then stop as if paper jam and then feed the paper through but not print the rest of the page.

Similar problem here, certain users (limited users and users connected via local network) cannot print "black". Only user with administrator privilages CAN print real "black". Even reinstalling printer driver doesn't solve the problem.

So temporary solution is to login as administrator or ask someone who is an administrator to print.

My HP 3550 deskjet will simply not print. It goes through the motions and seems to be printing --but the page is blank or very faint. I have already cleaned and re-calibrated the printer

Check ink-levels -- no ink means no printing.
Run a few more "print-head-cleaning" cycles -- clogged ink-jets cannot spray ink onto the paper.

Deskjet doesn't print real "black"

In the printer preferences, you can choose to print black or color. Check to make sure that when you print, you haven't specified color only.
