Every time I try to integrate, it says "Error: Dimension," but when I try the same problems on my friend's calculator, it works. How do I fix this?

The folder your operating from could cause you problems. To integrate, I usually do that in the main folder, and I make sure I have all my variables deleted before I begin. The owners manual say under Dimension error is because of different sizes of lists, and that would be caused by undeleted variables.

Two or more arguments must be of the same dimension. For

example, [1,2]+[1,2,3] is a dimension mismatch because the

matrices contain a different number of elements.

**Dimension
mismatch** error occurs when arguments are not with same dimensions. Two or more arguments must be of the same
dimension. For example, [1,2]+[1,2,3] is a dimension mismatch because the matrices
contain a different number of elements. By the way, it it very easy to resolving
your problem with differentiation. See captured image

As a result of differentiation you had to obtained:

(3b+2c)cos2x+(3c-2b)(sin2x)e^(3x)+2ae^(2x)

From the manual:

You entered an argument with an inappropriate dimension.

You entered a matrix or vector dimension less than 1 or greater than 255 or a non-integer.

You attempted to invert a matrix that is not a square matrix.

If you can't figure it out from here, please reply to this post telling us what you were plotting or attempting to plot when you got this error.

Three possibilities:

1) You entered an argument with an inappropriate dimension.

2) You entered a matrix or vector dimension < 1 or > 255 or a noninteger.

3) You attempted to invert a matrix that is not a square matrix.

If you need further help, please specify the exact problem you're trying to solve.

Hello,

Here is what the manual says

INVALID DIM : The dimension of the argument is incompatible with th current operation. (As dimension of a matrix, a list).

You can tell us more about what your were trying to do, we may able to help. Reset memory to default, the error may disappear.

[2nd][MEM][7][2][2] Defaults set.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

I had this problem. What fixed it for me was clearing all of the lists in the Statistics application and also in the stat app in the f2 pulldown menu select Plotsoff. After that it worked fine.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

This just happened to me too after i tried to plot some statistics. Press 2nd, +(STAT), then F3 for plot and see that you have all the STAT PLOTS turned off.
