Vivitar Digital Camera 3615 Problems

I have downloaded the device driver to Windows 98, which
supports the Vivitar Digital Camera model 3615 (Vivicam
3615). Whenever I connect the USB plugin into the computer
and power the camera on and put it in the PC mode, it
attempts to locate the driver and when it does it
immediately goes to the fatal error screen. I usually have
to do a hard reboot to get the computer back...

I installed the driver to a computer at work and it has
Windows Millenium and it has no problem working on it???

Could someone tell me what is going on???
