AQUOS LC-65D64U 65'' LCD TV will not turn on. Green lights flashes

I receive my LCD above and the first time I turned it on, I saw a black screen with a box in the upper right hand corner that said input one. After trying to find the correct input the screen went blank. Now all I get is a green flashing or blinking light. The LCD is a 120 volt 60 Hz unit. I live in Germany that has 220 volt 50 Hz. I did use a step down 220 volt to 120 volt, 1000 watt transformer. I was told the TV may have been too sensitive to voltage. This does not make sense to me. HELP!!. When I purchased the TV I asked for 100-240 volt, 50/60 Hz unit. As you can see, this is not what I received, however, I did verify the need for the transformer before I plugged it in. If you can provide a technical repair manual or access to one this would be great. One last note, the TV may have been cold since the movers brought in my house from 32 degree Fahrenheit weather, so I am hoping maybe a fuse blew. HOPE YOU CAN HELP!!

Send the LCD back to the store is not an option since the store went out of business. To complicate this problem, the TV and I are in Germany. What I would like to know, is the problem worth correcting, and if so, can a 100-240 volt transformer be installed in the TV along with a 50/60 Hz rectifier? Also, if this can be done, is it worth it?

Hi,
Since you saw input one display that means TV was fine at that time.
step down transformer 240 to 110 is OK for this TV.
Please unplug TV from AC outlet for couple of minutes and replgg back in and check again.
Service manual of LCD TV has no detailed schematics yet it has info about blink error codes.

There is a in/out button on the transformer, please select the in and then try to switch it on.

it can be done and yes it would probably be worth it. it wouldnt take much to convert it over and make it work like it should. call your nearest repqair shop and askthem the best way to do it and they should even have what you need to do it.

The upper left quadrant of my Sharp Aquos LC-65D64U does not display.

Check the connections of the flat cables that connects the T'Con board to LCD pane for any loose contact. Re-seat them. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to see the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there or make a search by type in the brand name of the device in the "Search Box", at the top right of the display window.

My TV LCD Sharp LC-65D64U had no power ON/OFF, the Power LED blinking, Could you let me know what is the problem?

Hello
This fault on that TV was with its power supply that feeds the LCD screen drive. The unit knows if it hasn't got an ouput to the screen from the power supply and flashes to indicate the problem. I'd suggest to try unplugging and leaving for 10 minutes before trying again. Then see if you can get any menu functions to appear as you trun it on.
However, then it'll need repairing by qulified technician.
Good luck

Aquos screen blacks out with xbox 360 using Component Cables

Downloaded the updated firmware from the sharp website to a usb drive. Placed the drive in the TV and went to the update software option on the TV menu. Since the update, I no longer get the black-outs on the screen. I also put the resolution on the 360 back up to 1080p and it works great, even through the component cables.
