Are you using a external video adapter? It seems you have a bad video adapter, try plugging in a different video card adapter.

Check also your RAM's, remove them and try to insert one at a time when starting the pc.

No display cpu fan and led indicators are working fine.Iam using RoHS Compliant N15235 motherboard. Can u tell me what will be the fault?

I don't know much about these things but I understand if everything is ok there is an audible beep shortly after switching on, at least all of my pc's have beeped. According to my motherboard manual there is all sorts of beeps as an aid to fault diagnosis.

As there is no display perhaps there is something wrong with the graphics card. It looks as though your motherboard has on-board graphics and it might be best to use those initially with a known good monitor.

D845GVAD2 no bios screen no beep no boot

Hello here is the intel homepage:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+845+Chipset+Family+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+D845GVAD2

Try to renew the power supply, with one you know is working.
I think that`s the problem.

The problem could ofcourse also be the mainboard itselves failing.
There is not much to do about that, other than renew the mainboard or buy a new pc.

Good luck

My pc is booting but no display

Did you check your monitor with other system or individually. If it works fine in these conditions then the issue belongs to your pc.
First of all, you have to confirm that is it the problem of VGA itself or the motherboard. For this, you have to see that does system beep when you start it because system with beeps having the error and the beep sound with continuous or 2-3 beeps relate with different issues. I am going to write down the beep conditions.

1 short beep Normal POST - system is ok 2 short beeps POST Error - error code shown on screen No beep Power supply or system board problem Continuous beep Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem Repeating short beeps Power supply or system board problem 1 long, 1 short beep System board problem 1 long, 2 short beeps Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA) 1 long, 3 short beeps Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA) 3 long beeps 3270 keyboard card

best of luck!

TURNING PC ON

Hi welshbry,

If you have extra parts your in a good position to attempt detective work.
There could be many things that could stop the board from turning on, Determining what is wrong is like detective work. What I do, is take everything off the board to start. Then add the minimum to start a board to see if it will start. That's one drive (cd or otherwise) the CPU, and one bank of memory. (that's not a required eliminate, but it helps avoid beep codes) Also, make sure you have your pin's set on the board absolutely correct, or that could be your problem to begin with. Also, if your going to load a ide drive, make sure you set your pin setting correctly on it. Now, you should get the power supply on, and the cpu. If those don't power up, it's then either one of the five elements. The CPU, Power supply, Ram, Drive, or the motherboard. The next step is to replace each one of the first four with another to see if you get any change. Also, on the drive, try a different cable to make sure it's not that, If no change, then I usually get another board that I can test the first four, and make sure that they work. If after that and you have tested all of the components and they all work, then it's save to say you have a Dead Board.

Good Luck,

Mark

THE BIOSTAR G31-M7 TE MOTHERBOARD WONT START UP.IT COMES ON BUT WONT POST OR SHOW ANYTHING ON MONITOR

Good day sir, hi. you need these 7 things to make your pc start, make sure they are good.

first unplug your pc. open the side panel to access the motherboard. Remove all connections to the motherboard.
  1. Remove and check the memory module, make sure that the memory terminals are clean, you can use an eraser to clean the contacts. much better if you have new ones. or test the memory modules on another PC to confirm that they are good, then snap it in place, you should hear clicks as you place it on the slot.
  2. Clean the memory slot with a clean paint brush, there should be no foreign objects inside the slots, visual inspection is necessary.
  3. make sure you PS is good. Plug in the 20/24 pin connector and the 4 pin 12v connector firmly.
  4. Make sure that the processor is installed properly. the fan is connected on the fan power port.
  5. connect the monitor to the vga slot, (or if you have graphics card)
  6. connect a keyboard,
  7. and a pc speaker (or the thumb speaker)
Power on your PC.
monitor your PC speaker.

You should hear a beep, (good) one long and 2 or 3 short beeps, problem with the display card, continuous beeps, system board cannot detect memory.

monitor your keyboard.

You should see 3 sets of led light, numlock+caps lock+scroll lock, and a few seconds, 1 led light, the num lock only.

Intel D945GCNL Board No display

Dear user, this problem can be coused by many things.
1, The memory you have installed is not compatible with your system.
2, Power supply failure.
3, Contact issue between the socket and the module.

Try thease:

Take a brush and clean the sockets.
Power on your computer without the memory modules, if you hear beep it could be a health signal :D.
Power off the system.
Clean your memory module pins with alachol or other cleaner liquid.
Wail till it dry, inster it back to the socket and move a little ud and down to catch ancontact.

Power on and now shold be work fine.

If this ain't works. Try other brand of memory, kingmax or kingston. They usually shipps with 99 of good modules from 100.

Good luck.
