How do I add CR to Barcode Value?

<p>The primary purpose of bar codes is to encode the unique characteristics of numbers and letters can be in a format that machines can easily read. However, bar codes are read by people often also for this reason, the codes generally include both parties readable and legible. The most popular bar codes meet a standard called "Code 39". The latest version of the code with 39 additional characters called "Extended Code 39." Among other characters, Extended Code 39 allows users to include carriage returns (CR) in bar codes. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Setting the bar code scanner to read "Extended Code 39," Code 39 is not as common support CR. The details depend on the specific bar code scanning software is used, but you will usually find this option under "Tools" then "Options." <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Trying to import csv file.

Try opening the csv file in a text editor like Notepad++ and see if there are any special characters present in the file that might normally be invisible. There is a setting to see special characters (View > Show Symbol > Show all characters).

It looks like you might have additional carriage return or linefeed characters. You could try exporting your records again and see if the csv's match.

HOW TO ENTER special character like é SYMBOL ON NOKIA

Inserting special characters on Nokia E61 and E70

The most common special characters can be inserted by pressing the 'Chr' key and selecting the one you want from the pop-up grid.
If there are rarer characters that you need, note that ANY Unicode character can be inserted by simply holding down 'Ctrl' and typing the number of the character concerned - it will appear at the current cursos position.

We have the barcodes to scan to emulate the keyboardwe are trying to scan units of blood that are for example 35 S 13048 the scanner reads 1313048..the first part is always messed up any ideas

Without knowing your application or scanner programming I can't be certain but it sounds like the scanner may be reading information on the code that you want parsed out. Check with whomever labels the units to find out exactly what is in the barcode (it's possible the "35 S " is not encoded) and then determine what you need to send to the program you are scanning the information in to. The scanner can be programed to pass along only specific characters that were scanned (i.e. the 13048) and to pre-pend or append additional characters as well (i.e. 35 S ). You'll need the scanner's programming manual to do that. Here's a link to the scanner's programming manual. Choose the first User's Guide on the list:

you are probably reading to a inteligent software package like Excell, which sees the inputted data as a number (so ignores leading zeros) you need to specify to the sytem that the incoming numbers are TEXT not numbers.

Huge files are not being retrieved

I would make sure that all filenames do not exceed 116 characters in length, and they contain only standard characters (A-Z and 0-9, not symbols like !@#$%^*))/|).
