Re: no power on
Try these simple trick to find out yor remote control working or not....
Point the remote control towards the Camera of a Mobile Camera
phone, with the camera on. While pressing remote, we can see a light
(Infra Red) coming from its IR LED through the Mobile Camera if the
Remote is working. otherwise, the problem with the Remote sensor or related components of the TV.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Check 2 things for me check batteries in the remote. Number 2 check that TV has power and that the plug was not pulled out.
If these 2 things are good then TV needs to be looked at. (repaired)
Also check fuse or breaker pannel in home. Good luck
Try pressing the small reset button on the back, it works, and you will not loose any stored information which caused the unit to go in the stand by mode.
Have you tried turning it off for an hour and then turning it back on. This happens to me quite often and leaving it off for a while ususally allows it to come back on. Also have you tried to press the TV/AV button on the remote as sometimes it switches to TV mode when its on standby and then standby won't work as its on TV mode and needs to go back on to AV mode. Basically just press the AV button on the digibox remote and then try standby.
if the batteries are removed and left for about 20 minutes before being replaced again, everything works as it should.
if any of the above suggestions does not work then you have to open the unit and on the main board of the tv there is a thin mini tube light like component called fuse you will have to replace that fuse .the fuse is very very cheap and you can easily get it at any electronics shop.and if still the unit does not work then there is a major fault in the power supply board and should be taken to the service center for diagnosing the fault that it is repairable or not.but i hope the above information provided will definately help you to solve your problem.
I'm soory to hear that atombomb72.
If you are able to open the back cover and check the fuses inside the power supply for open conditions.
The problem more likely be a defective power supply or a Ysus board assembly.
TV won't turn on • Press the TV button. Make sure the TV is plugged in.• Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is "live" by plugging in something else.• Something might be wrong with your remote control. Press the POWER button on the front of the TV. If the TV turns on, check the remote control solutions on page 26.• The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Lock Fr. Panel in the PARENTAL CONTROL menu and press OK (box won't have check mark).Buttons don't work • If you're using the remote control, press the TV button first to make sure the remote is in TV mode.• The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Lock Fr. Panel in the PARENTAL CONTROL menu and press OK (box won't have check mark).• Unplug the TV for two minutes and then plug it back in. Turn the TV on and try again.TV turns off unexpectedly • Sleep timer might have been activated. Go to page 24 for instructions.• KidPass might have been activated. Go to page 21 for instructions.• Wake-Up timer turned on the TV and no remote or front panel buttons were pressed for two hours.• Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds and then turn on again. If this happens frequently, the voltage in your house may be abnormally high or low. • Unplug TV. Wait five minutes. Plug it in again.
i know these suggestion might sound sometimes stupid and irrational but best to start from the beginning. you use the remote to turn the tv off or turn it off at the wall whilst switched on?
is there a standby light on the tv (usually indicated red)? if this is on its a good sign at least we know the tv is getting power.
is there a standby button on the tv? has this been switched off?
if these fail and you have changed the fuse as you said then it would seem that the tv power unit has burned out and may be time to pull the guarantee out or bring to the local repair shop.
hope this helps
Hi, If your television has no power, try the following: 1. Check the power cord for breaks, tears, or exposed wires . 2. Check to be sure that the power cable is fully inserted in the outlet and that the outlet is working. 3. Go to your fuse box or circuit breaker box and check the fuse or circuit breaker of the circuit your TV is plugged into. Replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. 4. Replace the batteries in the remote control, and then try turning on the TV using the remote. 5. Unplug the TV, wait five minutes, plug the TV back in, and then try turning on the TV. If the recommendations above do not resolve your problem, most likely the power supply in your TV has failed and your television needs service. Thank you !!
Hey Jim, The high voltage protection circuit has gone out on the D-board and will need to be replaced. The fuse to the power supply is probably fine. A good repair tech shouldn't charge over $125 for this and it only takes a couple of hours. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
