Internet explorer is riddled with many bugs. You can solve this issue, but it would be far easier (as well as safer) to switch to a better, faster, more secure browser. For example: Google Chrome or Firefox. Chrome is available here: http://www.google.com/chrome/Firefox here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/

Note: Pop-up Blocker helps get rid of annoying/unwanted pop-ups. You can also add your trusted websites in it's exceptions list so that you will not disable your pop-up blocker. Click on EXCEPTIONS for Mozilla Firefox and SETTINGS for Internet Explorer. Refer to the pictures above.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Neither Internet Explorer or Firefox will connect to internet. Firefox say it cant connect to proxy server. How do I check proxy settings?

Open your Internet Explorer,
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections "Tab" -> LAN Settings -> Proxy server, uncheck the box -> OK

Restart your Browsers ie IE or Firefox, you don't need the proxy server if your are a home users.

Hope it helps.
