Do you want to try again.. with more details?

Is the router plugged into your computer via USB?

Do you mean "windows update installed a new driver"

Does the modem not work now? Is it detected?

Have you tried to download the latest driver from D-Link?

How to scan pictures using ho f2480

When scanning with HP Solution Center, you can scan a photo or a document, but HP Solution Center does not save the scan to your designated folder. The Scan button on the product's control panel might not operate correctly. This issue occurs in Windows 7, or when using a version 13 print driver in Windows XP or Vista. Solution HP has created a patch to update your driver and resolve the issue.
  1. Right-click this link,(HP Scan Patch) link ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/scanbh/CPEScanPatch_hpcom_000_001.exe , and then click Open in New Window . A File Download window opens.
  2. Choose one of the following options to download the patch to the computer.
    • If you want to install the patch on the computer immediately, click Run . NOTE: Click Run again if the computer displays a Security Warning message.
    • If you want to install the patch at a later time, click Save , select a destination on the computer for the file to save, and then click Save . When the download is complete, click the downloaded file.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the patch.
Cause When installing or upgrading to HP Solution Center version 13, files do not install correctly.

How to solve ploblem it's error number 0xe0000227 realtek

here goes amed

There is really only 1 way to install the Realtek HD Audio drivers properly. No matter what all other forums say. Service Pack 3 is the main culprit as the drivers see that its above SP2 and dont install. I personally face this situation and was really distressed because it looked like either i will have to reinstall Windows Xp or have my new supercool and super monster computer without sound. Imagine having a monster PC with a motherboard with HD Audio and your driver doesnt install.
Both scenarios were something which i would never have approved of. Anyway so i Googled. I got 10s of solutions but most didnt work. Only 1 worked and i will put it here hoping that Google dear will catch it and people who face this problem installing the Realtek HD Audio 0xE000027.
  1. First Step is to make sure all instances Realtek Audio and its associative softwares are uninstalled from add remove programs and device manager. This includes Intel High Definition audio.
  2. On your PC change the CSDVersion registry key to Windows XP SP2:
    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows\CSDVersion value=200
This problem arises as the patch thinks that SP3 includes a better version of the patch itself and hence doesn’t install itself.
3. Download the latest drivers from the Intel website, navigate to the KB888111 patch.
4. But before installing the patch, goto your device manager and disable the UAA. Now uninstall the UAA.
5. Install your patch now.
6. Install the Realtek drivers now and things should work.
7. Change the SP version to 300 again.
If it didnt work, try once again. Hopefully Error 0xE000027 is fixed now.

No network connection for windows xp

Hello kenji, hi, it would really help if you could add more information about the no connection problem, anyway there are several reason why you have no connection;
  1. Bad Lan card, or built in lan port,
  2. Lan card device driver not properly installed, check your driver CD.
  3. loose lan cable. check using a lan cable tester device.
  4. bad router or router setup.
  5. bad dsl or modem setup.
  6. bad telephone connection. check also telephone cable.
  7. no internet service, call your ISP.
  8. if you are using a wireless lan card, check the device.
  9. bad Operating system installation.
  10. check your connectivity setup, is it enabled?
Go through each from one to ten, see which one is the fault.

I have a D-link airplus xtreme wireless router. Recently a network code has been installed for security and also on 2 of the oc's linked to the rouer. But on the 3rd laptop the networkscode does not work....

Either Lower the router's security to WEP (not recommended) Alternatively update the pc to support the new encryption. To do that: 1. Update the firmware of the wireless device 2. Update the device driver from the manafacturers website 3. Update the machines operating system to the latest service pack (with windows xp, this is service pack 3)

Windows update KB954430 is always in the queue to be installed.

I had the same problem with Vista. You need to manually download the patch and run as administrator. It has worked several times with me. Try these steps:

  1. Download the patch KB954430 manually from microsoft. Save it temporarily on you're desktop. Just go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=96a4413c-5261-4f69-83d0-932c430abd14&displaylang=en

or if you don't like clicking on links, google "KB954430" and click on the second link labeled "Download details: MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430)" at microsoft.com.

  2. Close Internet Explorer
  3. Right click on the KB954430 installation file that was just downloaded to your desktop (msxml4-KB954430-enu.exe)
  4. Select 'Run as Administrator'
  5. If you are asked, select 'Run' then 'Continue'.
  6. Select 'Next'
  7. Click on the 'Remove' icon, then select 'Remove'
  8. Select 'Finish'
  9. Follow steps 3-6 again.
  10. Accept License Agreement then click 'Next'
  11. Click 'Next' again
  12. Click 'Install Now' icon
  13. Click 'Finish'
And you're done. Hope this helps.

Trouble with sp32646

Hi there,,

there has been some conflict with SP3,
you could try to uninstall your SP3, and see if your problem is solved.
If, it is, then you could try and install SP3 again.
If it doesn't work, now, you know what to do, and then only download updates for SP2

Problem with software

I didn't think the final version of winxp sp3 was available to the public yet...hmmm

you must have the msdn install

is it a webpage pop up? if it is then you have some adware on your computer

go to microsoft.com and search for "windows service pack 3"

as you see the final version is not out yet so they should not ask you to install it.

the release candidates are out to msdn and technet testers.
