Question about JVC AV-56WP30 56" Rear Projection Television
I have read the site, thanks to everyone here. Ordered 2 STK-110's from Electronix. Replaced them; the red squiggly lines coming down from the top disappeared, so some progress. Then I thought adjusting the lens in the back would take care of the lines pulled to the middle..>>WRONG<<<. So I am reading this site, and I keep hearing about some low ohm resistors but no info on what they are or where they are located. No product specs I mean. All 3 lines or colors seem to be affected. If somebody can tell me where they are, and what they are, maybe I can order them and replace them. Thanks to everyone for your help.
I will be doing this same repair for a customer in the next two or 3 days, Without looking at it, I believe the resistors are orange or pink in color and labeled 3.9 ohm, but i will get back to you after I pull the board and have it in my hand.
