Question about Dell W1700 17 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
When I turn on my Dell LCD TV 17" it can take as much as 15 to 20 minutes to come on. Usually the sound begins to work in 12 to 15 minutes and then a couple of minutes later the video comes on. There is always a popping sound just before the sound and or video starts up. The length of time that it takes to start up is getting longer and longer. What can be replaced to fix this problem.
Popping noise is an indicatior of a bd board. if the unit power light still lights amber, it probably the main board else the power board a circuit or two may have been fried. both boards need to be examined. questions, email me
