Problem scanning to PC.

Scanner needs:
1- a second ethernet cable and its own IP address.
IP address should be similar to the printer.
2- a folder in PC ie: C:\SCANS. This folder should be input in scanner web page (entered in the address bar of a browser ie 192.168.1.10)
3- Install the file utility resident program in PC.

The solution for us was simply to get the scanning software from our service provider (Kyocera/Copystar deleted it from their site). We did not need an extra Ethernet or IP address assigned. Then configuring the scannner with a separate user and and setting the scanning profile for that user. It is a cumbersome process, but not difficult once we got the software for the destination PC.
