Question about Canon PIXMA MP830 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Just started. On a print or copy it will not take paper from the front feed. It starts the process feed then "spins" and errors: Rear Cover, the paper is jammed, clear the paper and press OK. It works relatively OK from the rear feed.
Based on your description of what's happening, especially the part about the paper sometimes skewing or jamming from the back also, it sounds like there may be a small piece of paper caught back there in the roller/feed area. You may want to try feeding a piece of heavy paper through, try from the top/back first, and see if it will push whatever may be stuck in there out.
Also, try opening the door on the back and use a strong light to see if you can see anything in there. Be careful if you try to remove anything, not to pry against the rollers or feed mechanism. Maybe use a long tweezers.
