Question about HP Business InkJet 2800 Printer
I want to upgrade the memory (it has standard)....
• What is the highest MB of memory that I can put in?
• how much?
• where can I get this memory
• How do I put it into the printer (I don't see a panel.)
First thing to do is check out the User Guide. If you do not have one, here is a link:
HP BIJ 2800 User Guide
Look under Installing Accessories for instructions.
The printer looks like it can hold 2 DIMMs, either 64MB or 128 MB. Here are the HP part numbers from the manual:
HP 64 MB SDRAM DIMM Part NO - Q1887A
HP 128 MB SDRAM DIMM Part NO - C9121A
I would contact the HP Store directly to see what they have available for your printer. You can do it online at HP Parts Store or by phone at 1-800-227-8164 Mon.-Fri. 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST.
