My new dell with windows vista cant find the drives or program when i try to install philips web cam
cant get camera to work with Vista, any downoads out there that will help thankls

Hi Isisas. You should try downloading and installing the Vista-compatible driver for the 600NC web camera. You can get to it by clicking here. Scroll down to the sixth item on the page to find the driver you need.

try when you install, to install in xp compatibility mode. check under HELP to see how you can do this.

ps. before you install, right click the program you are installing,under preoperties and choose compatibility with win xp; then install it.
You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA
driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you
to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Make sure that the USB web camera is physically
disconnected from your computer.
Driver CD into cd-rom drive and allow
autorun menu to appear.
Proceed with installation by explicitly following
steps 1 through 3 of the autorun installation menu, restarting where
Connect the USB Web Camera to your PC.
Allow time for Camera drivers to be detected and
installed. Ignore all Windows logo certification (or similar)
messages and proceed with installation.
Click on Windows Start Menu and execute the Pharoah Eye software

sum cams just wont work with vista have u dl all vista updates and add on updates add those in to dl list try to go to web site they dont have any for vista hu u can try to dl sp1 for vista but i think trial period for testers is done best bet buy new oen thats works iwth vista
