Question about Dell Latitude D800 Notebook
My son tried to reinstall a windows operating system - XP. since it was already onthe computer one would think that ity would tell us that it is already on the machine and if we wanted to over write. But the end result is that we are unasble to do anyythiong but get tot he set-up screen or boot up screen. It tries to give us an "r" to repair but that doesn't work. Any suggestions?
*** You will need a copy of windows w/ valid serial key *** - boot it up - hold or quickly tap a few times F8, it should bring you to "windows advanced options menu" - you should be able to select which version of windows you want to boot to (try one if it doesnt work try the other) - if that still doesnt work go to another cpu with a cd burner drive - download and burn to cd >>> powermax4.09.iso go to >>> http://digilander.libero.it/YorkOne/powermax/ - insert powermax cd run a format on the HDD - proceed with windows install
