Question about ViewSonic VA702b 17" LCD Monitor
Im using my palsonic LCD tv as my monitor for my APUS gaming computer (NVIDIA 9800 graphics card) and my tv turns the screen off then back on and repeats. some times it doesnt happen for hours, some times its every 2 seconds.
im using the normal PC plug on the back of the tv.
The main problem with using a tv is the resolution you wont get the same output as you would if you used and lcd monitor, to high of a resolution and the tv wont show a picture or will cut in and out due to it not being suported by the tv , try using the pc on a output setting of 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 and see if it does it,then if it doesnt then its your tv! try the 800 x 600 first as most tvs will support this with a vga slot in the back.
if this still happens after changing the res you might want to make sure that ur NVIDIA 9800 graphics card is working correctly and have the right drivers installed, make sure its not over heating and the card has room to breath inside the pc if your not sure try leaving both side panals of from the pc to see if its heat
