I have 2 versions of this crib...You take off the front rail... leaving the sides intact. You should move the bed rail up to the second holes...not the very bottom...or else the crib becomes even more Wobbly. After that you can attactch the toddlder rails to the 'side' rails...and one more screw (one on each) at the bottom of the toddler rail where there is a little metal bracket...attach that to the metal bed rail.
