I can't unlock the Golden Apple's House!!!

I have completed all 120 puzzles in main game and 121-129 in bonuses but still cannot unlock the Golden Apples House. I have gone through the end sequence 4 times now and still cannot unlock this... any suggestions?!

To open the Golden Apple House, leave Ninteno DS turned on to the end of the game and let the credits run until you are told The End. Your Nintendo will then tell you it's saving your game, when you turn Nintendo back on The Golden Apple House is waiting for you in the Bonus section.

I have completed all puzzles as the game says so as well as 2 bonus levels but i cant find the other bonus levels?

Check the Unlocking Bonuses index (down the right side) of this popular walkthrough too see how to unlock whichever houses you haven't unlocked
http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/

The walkthrough's FAQ may also be of help
http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/2009/05/faq.html

The most commonly overlooked house is The Decorator's House (from not completing the inn task in the trunk) and the walkthrough has indexes down the side (near the bottom) that show you which item goes in which room if this is one of the houses you haven't unlocked

Firstly, go to this popular walkthrough
http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/

Look down the right side and you'll find an index called Unlocking Bonuses

Click on whichever houses you haven't unlocked to see how to unlock them

If you haven't unlocked The Decorator's House (which is one of the most commonly missed as players often forget about this trunk task), then you'll find indexes further down the right side showing which items go in which room

Solved enough puzzles to finish the game, then game was deleted

The save file becomes corrupt if, say, the DS is reset or turned off before the game has finished saving

In this case, the save file gets automatically deleted and there is no way to get it back

As the game will have to be started from scratch, this popular walkthrough may come in useful to get through the game again (by quickly skipping through all the conversations this should take three to four hours)
http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/

It may also be useful to, say, alternate between all three save slots just in case one of them ends up getting corrupted

On a side note, 85 puzzles is about the least possible to finish the story and there's still around 50 more puzzles to solve (besides the weekly puzzles) and this walkthrough will also help in finding the puzzles that were missed

On a side note, the walkthrough can also be used to solve around 25 more puzzles by looking at those puzzles that are specific to whichever version (US or UK) you don't have

I'm at the end of the game and realize I did not click on the park gate sign to allow me to go back and open puzzle 120. Is there another way to unlock my last puzzle so I can have the last 3 bonus...

If Puzzle 120 is the one you're missing, this isn't in the park (which remains open once you've opened it)

You can see where it is here
http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/2008/02/puzzle120.html

If this isn't the one you're missing, then you have to carefully look through the puzzle book in the game to find the missing puzzle number

No puzzles can be missed and you can go back and get any puzzle after completing the story (these will either be in the shack or still in their original locations)

Finding all 120 hidden puzzles...

When the game says that you've solved 131 puzzles, then you've solved 131 puzzles

Players forget that the puzzle index only shows the puzzles that have been found ... just because the last puzzle in the list says 132 doesn't mean that there's 132 puzzles in the list

You have to carefully look through the list to find the missing puzzle number ... if you don't find it look again (some players have had to look through the list multiple times before spotting it)

Once you have the missing puzzle number, check this walkthrough to quickly find where the puzzle is (if it's not in Granny's shack)

I've finished the game but haven't found all the puzzles

When you get to the top of the tower you have the option of going into the house or return to the village,In the village you will be able to complete Puzzles; otherwise go into Bonuses where there are Layton's challenges, & Top Secret.
