Question about Pantech C300 Cellular Phone
Ok so today i dropped my phone about 4 feet and it hit the ground ( accident i bent to pick up something on the coffee table and it slipped out of my hand, i didn't think it hit too hard and it only hit the carpet but i picked it up and the mini LCD lights up it just doesn't display anything, the main LCD is purple-ish with a little white around the top, it won't ring when i get a call, but it will vibrate, i can answer calls and talk to people but i can't hear them, if i put in a headset i can hear them and talk to them, i can recieve texts i just can't see them and it will vibrate when i get one and the red light on the back indicating a text lights up but nothing else.....oh and the model is an audiovox CDM-8910. It'd be just terrific if someone could enlighten me on this, oh and the chrager port is kinda messed up too....which i guess is a comon problem with these phones from what i'd read. My phone is cracked on the left hinge the screen comes out white and the LCD screan comes out white with purple stripes. This is my favorite phone and I don't want to buy a new one and this phone is discontinued. What do I do?
It sounds like the phone itself is broke. Try taking it to a repair store of your service provider to see IF they can fix it. You might have to buy a new phone.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: CDM 8910 Audiovox Bell Mobility
go into the menu
go to settings
go up to go to next screen in others (the phone only shows the first 7 options, scroll past to options 8&9)
now while in "others" go to voice settings and choose "off" and then hit OK
hit the red button (off) And escape to the main screen, close your phone for 3 seconds and open it and its done.
hope this helps

just get a new phone......... the screen can't be fixed so you will have to talk to your company to see if they can replace it, if not, you may consider just buying a new one that isn't so easily breakable
