Question about Pioneer DEH-P3900MP CD Player
I have the same unit. It is not ground out through itself. I have a ford wiring harness on mine and Its a plain black wire (no stripe). There are also 2 others that are ground wires for the speakers.

If there is no black wire on the back (make sure it hasn't been cut off flush with the case), the the unit ground out through the case itself.
