Question about Bosch Drills
i have a bosh psb 600 res drill and all of sudden now when i try to use it stops after a few seconds. then it will take another day before i try again and somehow make it work - but guess what it starts but a few seconds it stops again.
it is a relative new drill, there is no smell of burning or overheating..
any advice would be helpful. thanks
Hi, Sounds like you have a pinched wire somewhere. When you say you somehow make it work are you bending the powercord, shaking the drill or what? Any of those things would suggest a pinched wire or broken switch. Make sure the switches for reverse and hammer work in both directions. You say it is relatively new and there is no smell so I would not suspect the brushes and it doesn,t sound like it is running long enough to overheat anyway. The best advice I can give you is that the drill needs to be opened and examined, and if you have an ohm meter check all of the connections from the power cord to the trigger. If you don't feel comfortable with that then you may want to return it under your warranty or you may want to do that anyway. Good Luck!
