It is not hard to do... The question is are you a service tech or just want to do it your self. If you are not a tech, it is best to leave it to someone who knows how to do it. It can & will get ugly fast if your not sure on how to do it......
Drum cleaning blade has gone bad. Especially true if the streaks seem to get progressively worse as you run multiple copies. In other words run 10 copies. If the last one out is worse than the first one out it is the drum cleaning blade. Cheap part...around $25
Can you stop the copy before the page gets to the fuser section? If you can and the doubling image is there you need to replace the drum cleaning blade and possible the drum as well. If the marks are there after the fuser section the problem is in the fuser. You will have to replace the Upper fixing roller. Good Luck... You may have a hard time finding the parts, this model is old and not a very popular copier..
