Hi I have a Gateway FHD2400 LCD monitor. Everything work fine but all buttons (inlude power and all select buttons) doesn't work.

If the control panel for the monitor does not respond there is no way to replace this. The monitor would have to be replaced if you desire that functionality.
However if the monitor turns on (without the need of the power button) and you do not need to adjust any of the settings then I would use the monitor until it could no longer serve its purpose.
Check the warranty status of the monitor and if it is under warranty you could get a replacement with a properly functioning control panel.

Have a 16" dell flat screen monitior. The display are very dim,and make for hard viewing. Tried to push buttons on computer but a locked icon flashes up. Tried holding the buttons to unlock but did not...

You need to hold the menu button for 15 seconds until the lock icon changes to unlock. Then you should be able to adjust the brightness of the monitor, assuming that the backlight is working properly. Hope this helps you.

The OSD and SET buttons on my monitor are not working properly. is there a software that can help me adjust the screen digitally i.e. without the need of those buttons?

I used to work at a company that specializes in CRT and LCD refurbishing. If a CRT's buttons have gone bad theres nothing you can do other than having them physically repaired.

I cannot increase the volume and it is very low. I have tried using all the tools that I can find but to no avail.

I know this is an old post, but since it's the first Google result that shows up, here's the solution:

On the Q19wb press the '1' button, then use the arrow buttons to highlight "Audio Adjust" and press the '2' button to select. Then highlight and select "Volume" using the arrow keys and the '2' button. Then, adjust to a higher volume using the up arrow button.

Note: if you aren't getting any sould from your monitor follow similar steps above but select "Mute" and "Off" in the options.

Can't Adjust Width of Display

I think the problem is that you need to find which buttons move your selections around, For the most part the Plus and Minus buttons are pretty obvious, but the movement buttons aren't always. The movement buttons allow you to scroll between the different options. There are often 5-6 buttons on a CRT or LCD monitor. Placement varies between companies. Lets get the obvious buttons out of the way. Usually, there is 1 button that clearly says Menu. Sometimes it is on the button, sometimes over. This allows you to access the full monitor menu options. Then there are the plus and minus buttons. These buttons allow you to adjust your settings. With some companies, pressing one of these 2 buttons will allow you to adjust the contrast or brightness without entering the full menu. Some companies, with more interesting montitor technology have a back button, or a degauss button, to remove magnetic damage from the monitor. This extra button(s) is(are) not common and can usually only be found in higher end monitors. Now for the 2 buttons I left out. Most companies will designate these buttons with an up and a down arrow, but not all. You might have to fiddle around with them to find out which one does what, but these buttons are used to navigate the screen between different option sets. Sometimes this is up and down movement, sometimes it is left to right. It depends on the design of the company. I've seen one that had a turnstyle-like menu screen and you navigated left or right to select the option. Once you can find out which button brings you in what direction, it should be easier to manipulate the screen to your perticular wants. I hope this helps

Onscreen controls don't respond

You have five buttons at thee right-hand bottom of your screen (just under thee edge). They are (from
left to right) the Main Menu button, the Down button, the Up button, the Input button and the Power
button (under the light).

To adjust your screen press the main menu button. Once the main menu screen is up, toggle
through it using the Up/Down buttons. Once you see what you want to adjust, move over to the
right side of the menu by pressing the Input button. Now use your Up/Down buttons to highlight
what you want to change. Once it is highlighted, press the "Input" button again. Now use the
Up/Down buttons to adjust your settings.

Once you have adjusted the settings, simply press the main menu button to exit.

Screen Adjustment

On your monitor at the bottom there is 3 buttons. The one all the way to the left is the "menu" button. The next one (going right) is the "NEGATIVE" button. The next one (going right) is the "POSITIVE" button.

You can move your screen around. First, start by pressing the menu button. Then, a menu in blue, with a bunch of little white icons will appear. Next, go over two icons by pressing the positive button twice. Then, proceed to push in the "menu" button again. A bar will appear. By pressing your negative button, your screen will move left. Pressing your positive button will make your screen move right. Adjust your screen until the black on both sides are of even proportion. Then, press the menu button to return to the orginal menu you started at. Proceed to press your positive button two more times. Then, press your menu button. Then, once again, use your positive button, and your negative button to adjust your screen to even out the black on the top and bottom.
