Alignment Issues I understand how to set the TOP, LEFT Alignment, and I have the percentages that they need to be.. But when I set it and click (Apply) It doesn't change a thing.. when I go back to check if the numbers stayed it's back to 0.. The changes won't stick. PS Running (Microsoft Windows 6.0)

How can I set my phone to display percentage of battery usage

If it's an iPhone, there is a setting you can turn off and on to show the percentage of charge your battery has left. You can also get an app to tell you that and more.

How do i increase the screen brightness HP elitebook 8530p

Sounds like your keybinding/hotkey combo is not doing its job. (or your bulb in the display is going out)

You can open up Control Panel and adjust brightness from there.

Step 1 Click "Start ' Control Panel ' Hardware and Sound ' Power Options" to open the Power Options window.
Step 2 Click and drag the bottom "Screen Brightness" slider to the right to increase screen brightness and to the left to decrease it. Making this adjustment changes the brightness level only for the current power source; if you change power sources, the screen brightness may change again.
Step 3 Click "Change Plan Settings" on whichever power plan is currently selected.
Step 4 Click and drag the "Adjust Plan Brightness" slider to the right to increase brightness for each of the power sources, such as "On Battery" or "Plugged In." If you want high-precision numeric control, you need to access the advanced settings.
Step 5 Click "Change Advanced Power Settings."
Step 6 Click "+" next to "Display" and then "Display Brightness" to expand these options.
Step 7 Click "On Battery" and enter a percentage in the field provided. Choosing "100" will set the screen to maximum brightness; any other brightness will be a percentage of the maximum brightness. To increase the brightness, make sure the number you enter is higher than the current value.
Step 8 Click "Plugged In" and set its brightness percentage.
Step 9 Click "Apply" and then "OK" to close the Advanced Settings window.
Step 10 Click "Save Changes" to save any changes you made on the Edit Plan Settings page. If you only make changes in the Advanced Settings page, the Save Changes button will be grayed out. If that's the case, just click "Cancel."

Hope this helps!

On my gmail account the language setting is on a setting that i dont understand, and i'm trying to change it back to english but i dont know where the language setting is. I need to know where i can...

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

If your Gmail interface is in the wrong language, take these steps to fix the problem:
  1. Sign in to Gmail.
  2. Click the gear icon in the upper-right and select Gmail settings next to your username at the top of any Gmail page.
  3. Click on the language drop down menu, the top entry on the first tab.
  4. Select your language.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click the right-hand button to save your changes. If your language has been set to a right-to-left language like Hebrew or Arabic you'll need to click the left-hand button.
  6. In the window that pops up, click the right-hand button to apply this language choice to all of your Google products. Clicking the other button will apply this change to Gmail only. In Hebrew or Arabic, you'll need to click the left-hand button to apply to all.
Hope this helps!

Prints out of alignment on excel spreadsheets

go to print preview, then to the margins button at the top and click it, margins will appear on the page, adjust your margins to the edges of the page, if the spreadsheet is supposed to be on one page and doesnt fit, go to page setup and shrink the size of the document (will be percentage), either way--once you have moved your margins out to the edges, you can then move them back in a little at a time if you need to in order to center your document on the page. Hope this helped.

Need to enlarge the print on my HP DeskjetD4160 - it's soo tiny

Are you using Internet Explorer, as you brower? If so go tothe top of an open browser window left click on "page", go down to text size and select the size you want. If you don's see "page" click on menu bar, it should open up the options available, there. It's right next to tools. that should do it. Also if you want larger text when viewing websites, click on View, and you can adjust the text the way you want it to look.

Alignment

You can try adjusting the top side and left side numbers within the printer driver. After changing the numbers, and you still have alignment issues, then you will need to get the printer professionally cleaned in order to get the sensors back to factory spec. PF-1 and PF-2 cleanings run $200 - $350 depending on how much ink needs to be removed from the vital sensors, gears and motors.

Can't converge the whole screen at once

A surround sound receiver wouldn't cause issues itself but the possibility that speakers could cause issues is there. Speakers usually are an issue with direct view CRT televicions more than CRT projections. Don't move any physical adjustments on the CRT's unless you understand what each magnet is accomplishing on it. It is a electrical alignment and most likely one that has to be done in the technicians convergence alignment settings not the consumers.
