Question about GE WBSE2090A Top Load Washer
My GE Washer model No. WBSE2090A2WW is overfilling - it would have flooded my basement if I hadn't manually switched it to make it drain - at which time the second problem occurred, which is that it just kept spinning and spinning. What could be causing these two problems together? I've ruled out the fill valve for the filling problem by unplugging the washer while it was filling, and the water stopped coming in. Please help if you can. (Could the timer be the problem or something else?) Thanks.
Remove the plastic hose from the water level switch and blow through it until it flows freely.
If it does not clear this way. Remove the front panel.putty knife needed.
Remove the water level tube from the tub and clean out the gunk.
Reconnect it to the water level switch.
Set the machine to spin and run it.
Reset water level control and try your machine.
