Question about GE JVM1640 Microwave Oven
I believe the oven was installed improperly. i have owned two of these in the past and when i turned the fan on it would circulate the air out the top front of the oven. Or it may be vented out of the bldg. In this case there is a black cover of some sort where the fan blades would normally blow out the top front. But there is no air movement. I suspct it was originally going to be vented out of the bldg but it was not and the covers were left in place, So, the vent does not blow air even though you can hear the motor turining at both speeds. How do i remove the covers so that air will circulate?
You can check and / or correct your installation with help from the installation instructions.
