How do I load the Markwell L3 stapler with staples

I can not figure out how to open the stapler.

  • Anonymous Feb 17, 2016

The Markwell L3 loads from the front. There is a small black piece that lifts up and then swings out to allow access to the staple slot. Just slide the new L3 series (it only works with Markwell Staples) in and press the latch closed.

HI, take a look at this video:
Also if you need staples, you can find them on amazon, here: Amazon com 5 000 No 10 Tot Mini Staples for Swingline Tot Staplers. I hope this was helpful. Cheers

SOURCE: refilling the staple gun

The staples do not go on the bar you pull back but directly into the bottom once you have pulled the bar back. I was trying to put the staples on the bar at the back and push them into the stapler.

SOURCE: there's a jammed staple but I can't figure out how to open it to fix the problem and refill it

This is how it works on the Arrow staple gun. On the back bottom, opposite end from where the staples come out, there is a little plate. Push it in and it unhooks and pops out. attached to a rod. When you refill with staples, just push them in, then put the rod back in and the spring applies the pressure.

We have an old stapler and can't figure out how to load it. It is a markwell

If it is a staple gun, this should help.

If it is NOT, there should be a small square on the bottom that you depress and that permits the top to slide off.

How do I open bostitch b8 to replace staples

I have a Bostitch B8 stapler and it took me quite a bit of fiddling around to figure it out... and figure it out, I did! Here's what you have to do:

1. Grasp the base of the stapler and the top part of the stapler firmly (make sure to not staple your fingers)
2. Pull them away from each other. You may have to muscle it a bit, but you can just pry them apart.
3. On the top part of the stapler, press the metal part into the covering (just as these pieces would be positioned if you were pressing down to staple something)
4. Slide the metal piece on the side to "OPEN"
5. Load your staples!

There's a tab that comes down toward the hinge, which you'll have to manually push up on to close the stapler. Should be good to go from there!

Swingline optima 40 how do you open and close the stapler?

Swingline heavy duty staplers provide the power to staple up to 120 pages of 20-lb. paper easily and consistently. The all-metal construction of these staplers makes them an indispensible office tool. However, the way to load staples into a Swingline heavy duty stapler differs from the method for loading most other manual staplers and can cause a little confusion.
Difficulty:Easy Instructions

    • 1 Remove the follow block at the back of the stapler by pushing the mechanism in, lifting the block up over the holding hooks and sliding it out from the stapler. The follow block is the spring-loaded mechanism that holds the staples in place within the stapler.
    • 2 Load the heavy-duty staples into the staple tray.
    • 3 Replace the follow block by inserting it back into the stapler and locking it into place over the holding hooks.

How do I replace the staples in Stanley Bostitch B310HDS? I cannot seem to figure out how to open it.

"The staples load from the rear of the stapler. At the back end of the is a piece of black plastic that extends beyond the end of the stapler. This device holds the staples inside the stapler. To open the area where the staples are placed, push this extended button and lift up on it. The spring device that holds the staples inside the stapler will then slide out. Place a new strip of staples inside the stapler on top of the two metal guide rails. Then insert the spring device to lock the staples in place. The stapler is now loaded and ready to work. " hope this helps you out

How do I load JT21 staples into a Arrow JT27 Stapler gun?

I was having the problems everyone listed... with the staples loading & firing... I guess the instructions are lousy .. should be ON THE PACKAGE to make it clear.. but.. on the stapler itself on the bottom.. it explains how to correctly load.. you don't put the staples on the piece that slides out.. you slide it out, load the staples in the open tunnel ..then slide the piece back.. that piece is the spring loader... since i finally figured it out ( by coincidence that I turned it over & noticed some faint words printed) - it works PERFECT every time! great little stapler... please fix your directions... seems to be a common misunderstanding!!!

Got it loaded now it won't shoot

I have a similar staple gun and I figured out I was loading it wrong. If you are loading it where the spring is, like I did, it won't work. there should be another area close to that spring opening that you put the new staples in.
